Founding Partners Daniel Hulme and Calum Chase at #Ai2peace
Two of the founding partners of PRISM, Daniel Hulme and Calum Chase, were recently interviewed as part of #Ai2peace presented by Peace One Day.
"We have a duty of care not just to other people and animals, but in the future we may also have a duty of care to AIs." Said Daniel Hulme.
Daniel Hulme discussed machine consciousness and how AI can be used for peace with Jeremy Gilley MBE. He spoke about the upcoming film 'On' that he is working on, which explores some of the ethical questions around machine consciousness and responsibility.
Calum Chace, interviewed by Steve Harding said: “We may be in a position where we are able to choose whether the first super-intelligence is conscious or not … we are rushing towards an extraordinary future, and not enough people are thinking about it."
